Tesla’s Phone – The Model Pi

Recently, there have been rumors of a Tesla Phone named the Model Pi. Although it has not been confirmed by Tesla, there have been speculations on the phone’s features if it were to be released. Most of these come from a video adrstudiodesign posted on their YouTube channel showcasing the Model Pi concept. It has been estimated that the earliest release date of the Model Pi would be 2022 and the latest would be closer to 2030.

It is expected that the Model Pi’s features would follow the trend of Tesla’s extravagance shown in various products such as the Cybertruck. The 6 main groundbreaking features that this phone is speculated to have are satellite internet, solar charging, vehicle control, astrophotography, crypto mining, and neuralink support.

Model Pi’s satellite internet feature will be heavily supported by Starlink, a space-based internet service engineered by SpaceX. This satellite-based internet feature is also believed to make it easier for potential use on Mars.

Solar Charging is a feature that is unheard of in the mobile phone industry. It is believed that Model Pi would feature the capability of being charged via solar panels either on the phone itself or on a case provided by Tesla.

The Model Pi will feature support for Tesla vehicles. Although the details are not set in stone, it is believed that the phone would definitely offer the capabilities already provided in the Tesla app.

Phones have been recently heavily focusing on camera ability. Model Pi takes a stand in this by offering excellent night photography through the use of SpaceX’s already existent space-photography technology along with its four cameras on the front for extra exposure.

Model Pi users will be able to take part in cryptocurrency mining from their phone. However, instead of mining the already-existing cryptocurrencies, the Model Pi will mine a new coin called Marscoin.

Neuralink is a technology in its infantile stages which is based around having the brain control computers. The Model Pi is believed to be the first phone capable of featuring this technology within it.

The hardware specifications of the Model Pi would be similar to a high end phone from today: 1-2 terabytes of storage, 16+ gigabytes of RAM, an AMOLED display, and a screen size of around 6.5 inches.

As for the price of the phone, due to the details being highly speculative and not set in stone, it cannot be completely certain on what the exact amount would be. However, given all of these various features, it is certain that the price of the Model Pi will definitely be in the thousands.
